| Application | BOMAG Engine Oil offers higher efficiency than common high performance engine oils. Even older diesel engines can be changed over to BOMAG Engine Oil without flushing, regardless of operating hours. BOMAG Engine Oil provides reliable protection against build up of deposits, sludge and avoids sticking. The efficiency of BOMAG Engine Oil allows for longer change intervals. | BOMAG Engine Oil Low Ash is suited to diesel engines from exhaust gas stage (US) Tier 4i, (EU) stage III B, with exhaust gas aftertreatment systems like diesel particulate fi lter (DPF), diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC) increased exhaust gas recirculation (AGR), two-stage turbocharging, SCR-catalyst (Selective Catalytic Reduction) or combinations of these technologies. Even older diesel engines can be changed to BOMAG Engine Oil without fl ushing, irrespective of operating hours. BOMAG Engine Oil Low Ash can be mixed and is compliant with conventional engine oils. However to fully utilize the advantages of this oil, it is recommended that oil is completely changed before adding BOMAG Engine Oil. Limited use in combination with diesel fuels with a higher sulphur content. | BOMAG Low Ash Engine Oil SAE 5W-30 was specially developed for vehicles with turbochargers and modern exhaust aftertreatment systems. Thanks to extensive manufacturer specifications, BOMAG Low Ash Engine Oil SAE 5W-30 is also ideally suited as a rationalization product for older vehicles. BOMAG Low Ash Engine Oil SAE 5W-30 meets all currently valid ACEA Ex specifications in combination with API CK-4 and also offers an outstanding approval profile. BOMAG Low Ash Engine Oil SAE 5W-30 is miscible and compatible with conventional engine oils. However, in order to fully exploit the specific advantages, mixing should be avoided and a complete oil change is recommended when switching to BOMAG Low Ash Engine Oil SAE 5W-30.
